LINKnet Mentoring - Minority Ethnic Mentoring Service, Edinburgh
Objectives
First phase - 2000-2003
- Recruit 35 volunteers from black minority ethnic communities per year and train them to be mentors.
- Recruit 35 people from BME communities per year to be mentees with the aim of developing themselves in employment, education and personal development fields.
- Work with 15 other organisations in order to achieve LINKnet objectives.
Second phase - 2003-2006
- Recruit 50 volunteers from black minority ethnic communities per year and train them to be mentors.
- Recruit 50 people from BME communities per year to be mentees with the aim of developing themselves in employment, education and personal development fields.
- Work with 20 other organisations in order to achieve LINKnet objectives.
Third phase - 2006-2009
- Recruit 60 volunteers from black minority ethnic communities per year and train them to be mentors.
- Recruit 60 people from BME communities per year to be mentees with the aim of developing themselves in employment, education and personal development fields.
- Work with 20 other organisations in order to achieve LINKnet objectives.
