Objectives

First phase - 2000-2003

  • Recruit 35 volunteers from black minority ethnic communities per year and train them to be mentors.
  • Recruit 35 people from BME communities per year to be mentees with the aim of developing themselves in employment, education and personal development fields.
  • Work with 15 other organisations in order to achieve LINKnet objectives.

Second phase - 2003-2006

  • Recruit 50 volunteers from black minority ethnic communities per year and train them to be mentors.
  • Recruit 50 people from BME communities per year to be mentees with the aim of developing themselves in employment, education and personal development fields.
  • Work with 20 other organisations in order to achieve LINKnet objectives.

Third phase - 2006-2009

  • Recruit 60 volunteers from black minority ethnic communities per year and train them to be mentors.
  • Recruit 60 people from BME communities per year to be mentees with the aim of developing themselves in employment, education and personal development fields.
  • Work with 20 other organisations in order to achieve LINKnet objectives.
